C-Sert Manufacturing, Inc. (“C-Sert,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how C-Sert collects, uses, retains, and discloses Personal Information when you visit or interact with the C-Sert website available at c-sert.com (the “Website”). It applies only to Personal Information collected through the Website, including through its contact form, and to electronic communications submitted through or arising directly from your use of the Website. It does not apply to information C-Sert collects offline or through means unrelated to the Website. It also does not govern the independent privacy practices of third-party websites or services that may be linked to or embedded in the Website.

You may browse the Website without directly submitting your contact information. The Website may nevertheless collect certain information automatically. If you choose to contact us through the Website, C-Sert collects the information you provide and uses it as described in this Privacy Policy.

Children’s and Minors’ Personal Information

The Website is not intended for children under 18 years of age, and C-Sert does not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 18 through the Website. If C-Sert learns that it has collected Personal Information from a child under 18, C-Sert will take reasonable steps to delete it.

C-Sert does not request or intentionally collect sensitive Personal Information through the Website. Please do not include Social Security numbers, government-issued identification numbers, account credentials, financial-account or payment-card information, precise geolocation, medical or health information, biometric information, or other sensitive information in the contact-form message field.

How We Collect Your Personal and Other Information

Information You Provide to Us

C-Sert collects information that you provide when you submit a question or other inquiry through the Website’s contact form or send an electronic communication arising from your use of the Website. The contact form requires your name, email address, and message. Your telephone number and company name are optional. If you do not provide the required information, you cannot submit the form, and C-Sert may be unable to respond to your inquiry.

The Website does not provide user accounts or process online purchases or payments.

Information Collected Automatically and by Website Providers

As you navigate and interact with the Website, C-Sert and providers that support the Website may automatically collect device, technical, Website-usage, cookie, and security information. This information may be collected through cookies, tags, server logs, similar technologies, and third-party services embedded in the Website. C-Sert uses this information to operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, analyze, measure, and improve the Website.

• Cookies, tags, and server logs. These technologies may record an IP address, browser or device information, the requested page or resource, access date and time, referring page, cookie or similar identifier, and Website interactions. Browser settings generally allow you to refuse or delete cookies, although some Website features may not function properly if you do so.
• Google reCAPTCHA. The Website uses Google reCAPTCHA with its contact form to help distinguish human users from automated activity and prevent spam and abuse. Google may receive device, browser, IP-address, and interaction information in providing this service. • Embedded Vimeo videos. When you visit a page containing an embedded Vimeo player or interact with the player, Vimeo may receive device, browser, IP-address, cookie, and video-interaction information. Vimeo’s use of information is governed by its Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

The third parties that may collect information through the Website include Website hosting and maintenance providers; tag-management, analytics, measurement, security, and anti-spam providers, including Google; and video-hosting and embedded-content providers, including Vimeo. Some providers process information on C-Sert’s behalf, while Google, Vimeo, and other providers may independently collect and process information under their own privacy policies. Depending on the provider’s practices, configuration, and your settings, a provider may collect or associate information about online activities over time and across different websites or online services. C-Sert does not control a third party’s independent collection, use, or retention practices. 

The Website may also link to third-party websites or services, including LinkedIn. Information collected after you follow a third-party link is governed by that third party’s privacy policy, not this Privacy Policy.

C-Sert may use Personal Information collected through the Website to:

Depending on the recipient and purpose, the categories disclosed may include contact and inquiry information, communications, device and technical information, Website-usage information, cookie and similar-technology information, and security and verification information. C-Sert may also disclose aggregated or deidentified information that does not identify and cannot reasonably be linked to an individual or household, subject to applicable law.

Your Choices and Requests

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) setting that sends a signal indicating that you do not want online activities tracked. Because there is no generally accepted standard governing how websites should interpret DNT signals, the Website does not currently respond to DNT signals.

Submitting a Privacy Request

To exercise an applicable right, submit a request through C-Sert’s Contact Us form and begin your message with “Privacy Request.” Please identify your state of residence, the right you wish to exercise, and sufficient information for C-Sert to understand your request. Do not submit Social Security numbers, government-identification numbers, financial-account information, or other sensitive Personal Information. You may also use this process to ask C-Sert to review or correct contact or inquiry information that you previously submitted through the Website.

C-Sert may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and authority. Where permitted by law, an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification of the agent’s authority. C-Sert will respond within the period required by applicable law and will explain any denial when required.

If applicable law permits you to appeal C-Sert’s decision, submit the appeal through the Contact Us form and begin your message with “Privacy Appeal.”

Nevada Residents

Nevada residents may submit a verified request directing C-Sert not to sell covered information, as “sale” is defined under Nevada law, through the Contact Us form. Begin your message with “Nevada Opt-Out Request.”

How We Protect Your Personal Information

C-Sert uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Information within its control from accidental loss or destruction and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. However, no website, internet transmission, email communication, information system, or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and C-Sert cannot guarantee absolute security.

How We Retain Your Personal Information

C-Sert retains Personal Information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as required or permitted by law. The period depends on the information’s category and purpose, legal and business requirements, security needs, and potential risks. Contact information and communications are retained as needed to respond, maintain appropriate records, manage any resulting relationship, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Technical, usage, cookie, and security information is retained as needed to operate, measure, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the Website. When information is no longer reasonably necessary, C-Sert takes reasonable steps to delete, destroy, aggregate, or deidentify it, subject to ordinary backup, archival, and deletion processes. Information independently collected by third parties is subject to their retention practices.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

C-Sert may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on the Website and update the “Last Updated” date above.

For a material change to its collection, use, or disclosure of Personal Information, C-Sert will provide any additional notice required by law, which may include a prominent Website notice. C-Sert will provide notice or obtain consent before using previously collected Personal Information for a materially different purpose when required by law.
