Why Choose C-Sert

A Message from the owners

Hello! I’m one of C-Sert’s owners. My name is Carl Strom. C-Sert is a small family-owned company with big Intellectual Property in the field of thread-repair. It’s our patents that make C-Serts indisputably the world’s best thread-repair method. Our company is headquartered in Portland, Oregon, USA, and our products are machined from S7 tool steel and heat treated in Southern California. We’re proud to put “Made in USA” on everything we make.

C-Serts:  A Better Thread Repair

I’m familiar with all the devices for repairing bad threads – Helicoils, Keenserts, EZloks, and the rest. All are clever, but none are reliable in critical applications. When in 2010 I set out to design C-Serts, my goal was reliability. In fact, my goal was permanencea design that would last forever. It took many patents and many setbacks for us to reach that goal, but we did. Our Lifetime Warranty is exactly that, a guarantee that our C-Serts will last for the entire life of the equipment they repair. No wearing out. No coming loose. Period.
If you’re fed up with traditional thread-repair methods, C-Serts offer you a chance at last to do things right. And to do the repair easily, because C-Serts install faster than any other device, without even the need for a tap. This is what you might call the “Holy Grail” of thread-repair – fast and forever. That sure beats “slow and temporary”!

What One Customer Said

“Other products and attempts to repair our platen holes did not sustain over time. They would pull out or become worn out. We tried C-Serts, and they proved to be the permanent solution we needed. As our Tooling Manager said, “One million years from now, our platens will be dust but the C-Serts will still be there.”
